Open Sky is from Rachael Mayne's 'A letter to them' Collection. 

A body of work shaped by Rachael Mayne’s 15-year career as a clinical psychologist, reflecting on what she learned while bearing witness to trauma, resilience, and the enduring human capacity for change. The paintings act as a gesture of gratitude to past clients, honouring the courage, vulnerability, and hope shared within the therapy room. Inspired by this bravery, the collection became an exercise in her own, expressed through larger scale, bolder colour, and a move toward greater abstraction.

This is her most ambitious and personally resonant body of work to date, grounded in a belief in the enduring capacity for courage, kindness, and change.

As an artist and clinical psychologist, Rachael is fascinated by the connection between creativity, immersion in nature and wellbeing. This enduring interest has drawn her repeatedly to the theme of gardens.

All prints are made to order and hand signed by Rachael. Please allow 3-4 weeks for this process. Printed onto luxurious 310 gsm textured cotton rag paper, using archival giclée inks.

The prints include a white border around the artwork for framing purposes.

Prints are unframed and shipped in a flat board package or tube (depending on size). It is strongly recommended that the print remains in the packaging until it is ready to be framed.
