Temple of the Sun Alba station necklace gold

The Alba station necklace by Temple of the Sun features a fine cable satellite chain adorned with a trio of polished beads in a rhythmic sequence. Designed as a foundation for layering, this choker also holds its own as a minimalist standalone piece.

Alba, from Latin, means bright, fortunate, and noble shining one. It also signifies dawn, a timeless symbol of new beginnings.

Temple of the Sun uses only recycled sterling silver 925 as the base metal for their vermeil gold and silver jewellery. Vermeil jewellery is made by laying a layer of 18K gold over a sterling silver base, making it high quality and durable, with a thickness of at least 2.5 microns. This thickness makes it more resistant to tarnishing and fading than plated gold jewellery (which has a minimum thickness of 0.5 microns).

Jewellery care:
Remove jewellery before engaging in activities that may cause damage. Jewellery can be gently scrubbed with a soft-bristled or baby-sized toothbrush coated in warm, soapy water to dislodge any dirt.

To ensure the gold lustre remains golden and bright it is important to remove your necklace each time we apply makeup, cosmetics, shower and swim. Gold vermeil, like all non-solid gold, is designed to fade over time.
