The Anki Necklace in cross brushed 18K Gold Vermeil worships the Mediterranean sun, the giver of life, with the solar wheel and its golden rays centred by the holiest of symbology: the cross.

On an abundant link chain, we evoke the ancient rosary designs, with a single chain that carries the Anki pendant from the body of the necklace to draw fertility, desire and new-life closer towards the heart.

Temple of the Sun uses only recycled sterling silver 925 as the base metal for their vermeil gold and silver jewelry. Vermeil jewelry is made by laying a layer of 18K gold over a sterling silver base, making it high quality and durable, with a thickness of at least 2.5 microns. This thickness makes it more resistant to tarnishing and fading than plated gold jewelry (which has a minimum thickness of 0.5 microns).

Jewellery care:
Remove jewellery before engaging in activities that may cause damage. Jewellery can be gently scrubbed with a soft-bristled or baby-sized toothbrush coated in warm, soapy water to dislodge any dirt.

To ensure the gold lustre remains golden and bright it is important to remove your necklace each time we apply makeup, cosmetics, shower and swim. Gold vermeil, like all non-solid gold, is designed to fade over time.
